An essential component in career development is continuous professional training, oriented toward the development of teaching, research, leadership and transfer skills. For this purpose, UPB has developed a personalized training offer for career levels and also ensures the procedural framework for participating in relevant training activities for employees, including international training or research mobility.
UPB has high-performance research infrastructures (research centres and laboratories, state-of-the-art equipment and is currently implementing other new research activity investments.
The university is a member of ANELIS+ and co-finances researchers access to scientific publications. Each employee has a personal e-mail account, and UPB intranet can be used remotely. Databases, publications and scientific articles may also be accessed outside the campus through the platform https://www.e-nformation.ro/.
Within UPB, there is a kindergarten and primary school for the children of UPB employees. Thus, employees' children can benefit from educational services, and personal development (through access to counselling services and customized optional courses) and can carry out sports activities at the UPB school gym.
Researchers and teaching staff can request accommodation in UPB residences.
