RDI-HR Strategy

The National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest has developed a RDI-HR Strategy, a development framework for the period 2020-2024. It expresses the values, principles, and objectives that the POLITEHNICA Bucharest community should consolidate through consultations with community members. The strategy serves as the document to which our institution activities will be reported for the coming years. This strategic development framework aims to provide guidance to everyone within the POLITEHNICA Bucharest on how to respond to external changes and how to capitalize on emerging opportunities. The RDI-HR Strategy has a bidimensional structure, with a significant development objective at the intersection of these dimensions. The first dimension comprises five operational areas: Education and the learning environment, Research, Innovation, People and community, and Campus, services, and institutional capacity.

The second dimension is based on four guidelines that support the university's mission and thus confer the distinctive characteristics that the strategic framework proposes to develop. These guidelines are cross-cutting and can be abridged as follows: Excellence, Impact, Internationalisation and Openness.
